Existing Building Retrofit Examples

We could use your assistance in our search for performance data on existing building energy efficiency improvements. Our goal is to identify common practices that will advance the use of these measures and transform the commercial retrofit market in favor of energy efficiency.

It is our hope that this work will help to influence recommendations to the design and construction community on how to achieve significant energy savings in existing buildings.

The findings will be publicly available, but individual buildings may choose to remain anonymous. While buildings in the Pacific Northwest, throughout the U.S. and in Canada are the primary focus, we welcome other international examples with available data on savings.
